Periodically existing MFN Band Employees may be away from their jobs for any extended period of time. The purpose of this posting is to replenish our pool of qualified individuals who we can call on to fill those temporary vacant positions (i.e., 2 days to 6 months). Community Health Nurse

Community Health Nurse Classification: MFN Nursing Salary Grid, Full-Time Term (18 Months ending August 2013)

Position Summary

The Community Health Nurse (CHN) is a member of a Community Health Services Team sharing in the responsibilities for the delivery of a comprehensive Community Health Program. The CHN works in collaboration with the M’Chigeeng First Nation community, families, individuals, other professionals and organizations to meet those needs. The goal is to promote and preserve the health of the community through a focus on health promotion, health maintenance and health education. The CHN provides functional support as required and related to nursing practices.

Reporting Relationship

The CHN works under the direction of the Department Manager and Nursing Supervisor.

Employment Counsellor

Department: Training/Employment Hub Centre Classification: Community Services (CS-03) Status: Regular Full-Time

Reporting Relationship

The Employment Counsellor will work under the direction of the Ontario Works Department Manager.

Position Summary

The Employment Counsellor will work directly with clients to provide employment and training program supports and assistance based on individual needs with an end goal of finding meaningful employment. The incumbent will have case management skills to provide employment and training activities such as intake and assessment to determine required training and action plan development for desired career.

Bingo Attendant (Runner)

Bingo Attendant/Runner will report to the Bingo Manager

Position Summary

The Bingo Attendant/Runner will be highly visible during the course of bingo sessions. This position requires excellence in customer service and knowledge of bingo procedures is essential.
