​Important MFN Education Post Secondary Deadline Dates
  • Students must submit their entire application for educational assistance package/forms by MARCH 30th, each year.
  • Mid-Term marks are due at the end of each term.
    NOTE: Students will usually receive an email 1 MONTH PRIOR from the Post Secondary Counsellor, regarding marks/grades being due. Reminding students to start sending them in ahead of time to ensure that the student's assistance continues. If grades are not handed in by the preferred dates down below, the student's sponsorship is put on hold until it's reviewed/updated.
  • Fall/Winter (Sept-Dec/Jan-Aug) students should have their grades emailed to the PS Counsellor by the 2nd Friday of November, .
  • All Spring/Summer students (May-June/July-Aug) should have grades in by the end of August.​
  • Final Grade Reports are due at the end of each term.
  • Upon academic completion, an official transcript must be submitted.​

Important College Dates
​

NOTE:  The application process at ontariocolleges.ca follows an annual cycle, based on the academic year (August to July). For programs beginning at other times of the year, please contact the individual colleges for more information about application processing dates.​
  • Equal Consideration Date and Earliest Offer Date: February 1st, 2021. Apply on or before this date, to receive equal consideration. (NOTE: Applications for highly competitive  programs must be received by Feb 1st in order to be considered as these programs receive a high volume of applicants, all seats may be filled).
  • The deadline for when applicants must confirm their acceptance of an offer of admission is by May 1st, 2021.
  • The colleges require payment of a tuition deposit due by (mid) June, to secure a spot in your program. Each college sets it's own tuition deposit amount and payment deadline. The college may communicate this to you or you can find the info directly by visiting the institutions site or calling them.​
Other Important Dates
​
  • OSAP applications are usually available by April. It takes approx. six weeks for your applications to be processed. Applications received by June 30th will usually receive priority or first choice. You do not have to wait for a letter of acceptance or admission in order to apply.
Important University Dates​
​
  • OUAC send Ontario Universities all application data and grades for all applications by January 15th, 2021. The initial application includes all final grades from completed Grade 11 and 12 courses and a list of all current-year courses in progress.
  • January 21st, 2021 is the target date for Ontario universities to receive all application data and grades from the OUAC for applications submitted January 15, 2021.
  • February 25th, 2021 is the target date Target date for Ontario universities to receive all final grades available for 4U/M courses and current full-year grades for 4U/M courses from the OUAC.
  • May 4th, 2021 is the target date for Ontario universities to receive all midterm/final grades available for 4U/M courses and interim grades for full-year courses from the OUAC. Grades the OUAC receives earlier than the deadline will be sent to Ontario universities when received.​
  • May 27th, 2021 The latest date all high school applicants who submitted their application by the January application deadline can expect a response from an Ontario university. This includes: an offer of admission; a refusal; or a deferral, once additional information is received.
  • June 1st, 2021 is the earliest date you may be required to respond to an Ontario University offer of admission and give a financial commitment (eg. registration deposit, residence deposit, etc.) All other admission-related elements, including scholarships, other forms of student assistance or financial incentives, and offers of residence, are considered part of the offer of admission.
  • July 13th, 2021 is the date for the OUAC to transmit all remaining final grades to the universities. The OUAC will attempt to contact all schools that have not provided their grades.
  • June to August, the Admission Information Service (AIS) allows you to see which Ontario Universities still have available spots in first-year undergraduate programs.
